Simple Birthday....

Evening,

Well this weekend I donated most of my time to Race for life whch is the first time I have participated.  

It was a very heart wrenching time thinking of those we have lost and those who we know that are survivors and other bravely racing with this disease.  Well we have one think to say "Jog on Cancer!"

Here is a picture of us Girls "The Pink Poppets" before the race started (I'm at the back in the middle)..

Shades of Grey....

Today I thought I'd show you my little card for the challenge on Less is more Shades of Grey.

Being new to crafting i was struggling with this one as I needed some inspiration. Anyhow here is my card..

For the butterfly it was the first time I had used silver embossing powder which was very fiddly to use however with a bit of pink glitter i think it turned out.

Hi All,

Well today I thought I'd have a look for some inspiration and came across CAS(E) this sketch 

So today I wanted to use my new stamp "In Bloom" and love the colour combo of the blue with the daffodil Delight! 

I'm very please how it's turned out, what do you think...

Ben's Birthday Surprise....

Evening,

Well today i attended my best friend for 31 years, little boys 1st birthday party. Obviously I had to make a lovely card for him so here goes...

Because he is a boy I went for blue animal theme and within this as I was at Jen's crafting with Lizy they suggested I enter a challenge to give me ideas.

The challenge I decided to join was from Freshly Made Sketches which fitted in nicely with my theme.

I love this Image from stampin up and decided to give it a bit of difference to by making the elephant and Lions stand out of the card and I love this effect.
